CAMBRIDGE, Ontario—(August 3, 2021) 1Source Metrology, a representative of Dayton, Ohio-based AIMS Metrology, demonstrated the Revolution Series mobile, 5-axis HB coordinate measuring machine at Booth #2423 at CMTS 2021. The Cambridge, Ontario distributor combines more than a century of industrial metrology experience under one roof. Its services include CMM sales, programming, certified inspection, software training, retrofits, reverse engineering, data collection solutions, fixturing and accessories sales.

The HB, fitted with a 5-axis Renishaw PH20 probe head, can be placed on or near a production line for dimensional verification. Job shops save substantial time and costs because the operator no longer has to manually pull parts for inspection. The CMM is easily moved from location to location where it can monitor process flow in real time. Vibration dampers reduce shock and vibration for a long life cycle while lightweight bellows and covers minimize friction for precise performance.

Renishaw’s TONic and FASTRACK encoder scale system support accurate, repeatable inspection. Renishaw’s 5-axis PH20 quickly obtains high-density points for feature size, location, and form. Managers and machinists receive error-free, actionable data to act on at any point during parts production.

1Source Metrology was "...pleased to demonstrate the best the world has to offer in metrology with its great combination of global partners."
