February 17, 2016. ABLE Machine Tool Sales Inc., is the New England distributor for Dayton, Ohio-based Advanced Industrial Measurement Systems’ (AIMS) Revolution Series coordinate measuring machines. Designed and engineered with Renishaw 5-axis measurement technology, AIMS introduced its new product line in 2015.
The 30-year-old Agawam, Massachusetts-based ABLE is a full service machine tool and metrology sales company. Alan Lockery, president of ABLE, says the partnership with AIMS was mutual. “We have a history with AIMS,” he says. “They were looking for a distributor that fit their business model. We represent CMM technology and we are a Renishaw representative. It was a good match for both companies.”
ABLE has a “go to” reputation for sales, service support, turnkey solutions and training. “Customer support is our primary focus,” Lockery says. “It’s not just about selling and servicing equipment. Our goal is to be proactive about creating solutions that solve customers’ problems.”
